Yes, you really can get an awesome workout while sitting in a chair. Let me show you how! This upbeat chair-based class is appropriate for hip aging adults and those looking to lessen the impact on their joints. All ages and skill levels are welcomed, as variations will be shown. Standing exercises may also be incorporated to improve balance and flexibility.
2 light hand weights – if you don’t have weights, soup cans or water bottles work great too!

What to expect:
- Chair aerobics – think “Sweatin’ to the Oldies” in a chair!
- Water break
- Strength training – building stronger muscles and bones
- Balance exercises – standing work to keep you standing on one foot!
- Stretching – to increase flexibility
