Greetings Yogi ! Join JeLisa for a restorative yoga flow to relax the mind and body with props and mindful breathing exercises. In this yin yoga practice we will hold postures for longer periods of time.
Props are not required but are encouraged if you have them! Such as straps, yoga blocks, bolsters or body pillows, and eye pillows.
Many find yin yoga the most difficult to practice as it requires you to sit in stillness with your own thoughts and emotions.
Benefits of yin or restorative yoga – stretches connective tissue between muscles and fascia increase range of motion, tap into parasympathetic nervous system, and helps with meditation practice.
This class is suitable for ALL levels.
